The WeighStation is a great industrial vending solution for managing stock at point-of-use, tracking the usage of expendable or durable items and automating the replenishment cycle. The only additional step to employees is identifying who they are by a password on the touch screen or a bar-code scan. If accountability is not important, the device can be configured for open shelves with scales and bins to simply trigger re-order points through CribMaster. No inventory to scan or transactions to log. Transactions are automatically recorded when inventory is removed from the bin based on the amount of weight that was removed.
