Apprentice of the Year awards

Buck & Hickman are committed to supporting and encouraging apprentices across British manufacturing industry and allied skilled trades.

Throughout our history we have been involved in meeting the ever changing needs of British industry for tools and maintenance products and have seen generation after generation of apprentices begin their training. For many years now Buck & Hickman have formally recognised the importance of apprentices to the future of British industry by rewarding the very best apprentices each year via the Buck & Hickman 'Apprentice of the Year Award'  

As proof of our committment we have relaunched the Buck & Hickman 'Apprentice of the Year Award' by significantly increasing the number of companies and technical colleges that we support and enhancing the prizes available to winning apprentices.

If you are a company that operates an apprenticeship scheme or a college that provides training courses in engineering or key trades then you can register your apprentices or students for the award scheme. For full details see the downloadable brochure at the bottom of this page.

Registering your apprentices/students couldn't be simpler. Simply download, complete and sign the registration form below and return it to:

At the end of the course or academic year, once you have decided which apprentice/ student will win the award simply email apprentice.awards@buckandhickman.com and we will produce all the necessary certificates and awards for you. You will also need to confirm when your awards ceremony will be taking place. A Buck & Hickman representative will be available to attend your awards ceremony to present the Buck & Hickman Apprentice/Student of the Year award.
