British Superbike Sponsorship
For the 2009 season Buck & Hickman will be continuing with their backing of British Superbike team Jentin Racing Yamaha, providing a range of products under the 'Roebuck' brand.
Jentin Racing Yamaha are one of the leading privateer teams in the British Superbike Championship and last year finished tenth overall and highest-placed Yamaha team beating a number of the other works-backed teams. This year they have signed Jon Kirkham as their rider. Jon finished second in the 2008 National Superstock Championship and won the Henderson Insurance R1 Cup.
The British Superbike championship is the highest profile motorsport series in the UK with extensive television coverage and race day crowds of over 40,000 people.
Jentin Racing Yamaha will be using Roebuck hand tools, tool cabinets and consumables exclusively throughout the 2009 season, further proof that Roebuck products are engineered to the highest standards for use in the most demanding of environments.
For 2009 the team's bike will be carrying ‘Tooltastic’ branding which is the new brand-name for Buck & Hickman's trade counters. The team’s mechanics are expected to be regular visitors at the new ‘Tooltastic’ trade counter in Cheltenham.
